Brad Fuller
I started CrossFit in 2017 as I was finishing physical therapy school, and have been at Calibrated since the summer of 2018, started coaching in 2021. For me, CrossFit has been a perfect outlet for competition, athleticism, and routine. Most mornings I am at the gym by 5a.m. I really enjoy the community aspect of the sport and the fact that I am guided on movement and programming. Although I have a background as a physical therapist and an athletic trainer (and I think I know what I’m doing), I personally believe that everyone benefits from good coaching and guidance.
No matter what your goals are with CrossFit, the coaches at Calibrated are there to support your goals. My favorite part about coaching is being able to see the satisfaction members get from progressing over time. I know from personal experience how rewarding it is to learn a new skill, hit a new PR, or simply be able to perform something with less effort than before.
Outside of the gym, I enjoy spending time outside, eating good food, trying new breweries, going to FC Cincinnati matches, and spending time with my wife, Sara, and our daughter, Arwen (who you will probably see in the gym at some point climbing the rope or pushing the sled.)
Movement I couldn’t do, but comes easily now: muscle ups and handstand pushups
